Exam context: Unit 3.3.3 - Reasons for differences in earnings
The English Premier League (EPL) is the world's highest-earning football (soccer) league with total revenue of €7 billion ($7.5 billion) for the 2022/23 season. La Liga (Spain's top-tier football league) and the Bundesliga (Germany's top-flight football league) are the next two highest earning football leagues in terms of annual revenues. All three leagues attract the world's most valuable football players, as measured by their transfer market value (see table below).
