Welcome to the October 2023 Newsletter!

Many thanks for your ongoing support of the website. At the time of writing, we have more than 60 teachers and 500 students across 15 countries using the website. Please remember that you can activate Student Access to give the students at your school to have complimentary use of the resources on the website.

Some of the updates to the website during the past month include:

• A new Paper 1 MCQ interactive quiz for Unit 1.4 (PPC) has been added here. The quiz is self-marked and provides a short reason for each answer to support student learning and engagement.

• Two true or false quizzes for Unit 3.1.1 (Money and Banking) have been added here. The first one can be used by students to revise on their own. The second quiz is a "smart quiz" so teachers can set this task for students and get a record of the marks each student achieved as part of their InThinking mark book.

• A new interactive true or false quiz, with 10 questions and answers, for Unit 3.1.2 (Banking) has been added here.

• A new interactive true or false quiz, with 20 questions and answers, for Unit 3.5.1 (Classification of firms) has been added here.

• Additional case studies (real-world examples) and exam practice questions for Unit 3.7.4 (Calculation of revenue) have been added here.

• A new set of Paper 1 MCQs for Unit 6.3.4 (Consequences of foreign exchange rate fluctuations) have been added here.

• The InThinking IGCSE Economics website now contains a set of 200 cloze questions and answers to support student learning of the syllabus content. Each of the 10 quizzes contain 20 questions from different sections of the syllabus. To access these interactive quizzes, use the hyperlink here.
