Getting started

How to use this site

This site is divided into a number of different sections:

  1. Lesson plans for each unit to guide you week by week through the IGCSE course. Each lesson plan includes activities, teacher plan and an assessment exercise based on an examination style question.
  2. Exam style questions containing sample questions for each of the three papers, perfect to use as homework or class exercises.
  3. Grading practise containing exam responses from IGCSE graduates for you to grade and then compare your scores with those awarded by the examiners.

There are a number of different ways in which teachers can organise the course.  I prefer to teach the course sequentially - starting with unit, the purpose of business and then complete units 2-4 within the first year of the course.  In year two I complete units 5 and 6 before focusing on revision.

You can follow the syllabus by using the suggested pathways, available at: Suggested pathways

Good luck and I hope you enjoy using my website.
